Getting Crafty With It

Are you struggling to find time in your life for creative activities? Do you want to try new crafts without needing to invest in tonnes of materials first? Are you looking for activities to boost your wellbeing and self confidence?

If the answer is “Yes!” then Getting Crafty With It is the right place for you.

What is Getting Crafty With it Club?
We are an inclusive arts and crafts club in London. We meet once a month in a cafe or public space to have a craft and a natter – we also host the occasional online meet up too. Our events range from “Bring Your Own Project” style events to group crafting activities and workshops.

Our aim is to help you unleash your creativity and to remove the barriers and constraints preventing you from exploring new creative pursuits. At our events you’ll be able to try a new art or crafts activity you might not have had the resources or confidence to try at home. We try to focus on the process of creating rather than worrying about the outcome to help boost self confidence and deal with worries around perfectionism.

How Does Getting Crafty With It Club Work?

  • We organise our events on a monthly basis.
  • The date/time/venue will be announced a few weeks before each event on our Instagram page.
  • Some of our events have limited capacity depending on the size of the venue or the activity we have planned and we’ll let you know how you can reserve a place.
  • Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

How Much Does Getting Craft With It Club Cost? Nothing – our events are free!

Do I need to be an expert arts and crafter? No – we are beginner friendly! Many of our events might involve a new activity you have never tried before.
